I have to say that this was one of my favourite reads of 2014. To say that I was engrossed in this book would be a severe understatement. I was captivated from the get go and until the very last word, I was lost, mesmerized, disturbed, wrecked and left void of all emotions. Yes, it really is that bad! But bad in a good way, you will be sucked in, shocked, twisted, gutted, stunned, appalled but you most definitely won’t want to put this one down. Once that book hit my kindle it was like it was super glued, the urggghs and the arggghs emanating from my voice box had my husband wanting a blow by blow commentary, never before have I read such a twisted book that, yes is disturbing but was so intriguing and captivating that although I was shocked, I didn’t have time to digest, I just had to keep on going…then at the end it hits you…and then you think WTF have I just read…you have just been BANG’ d.

EK Blair was extremely brave in writing and publishing this book, she covers taboos like no other; she went THERE…several times. The subject matter, at times was depraved, shameful but intense, I actually felt guilty reading it and enjoying it. I asked myself several times, how can I be loving this? But that is testament to the skill of this authors writing…even though you shouldn’t you do.
All-consuming, frenzied, passionate, revolting, fascinating, addictive, bewildering, twisted, dark, vengeful, hypnotic, harrowing, heart breaking, conflicting, I could go on and on and on, but I have never felt this passionate about something that totally left me reeling. Is it sick that I want more? I don’t think so, it is just such a powerful story that I could not help but fall in love with this book; I was well and truly BANG’d.

This is one of those books where I cannot say much about the contents; in fact I am going to say nothing so this will be my shortest review ever. This book needs to be read to be believed, it is a journey and an experience where you have to go in blind, with no preconceived ideas, taste it, devour it, feel it, live it and hopefully you will come out the other side with your heart intact. But one thing I can say for sure, if you are anything like me, you will be on tenterhooks waiting for the next instalment.

I cannot say enough, but please please don’t be put off, 1click, buy it, this book needs to be experienced, be shocked but enjoy the book for what it is, a master class of suspenseful writing that will have you on the edge of your seat, revenge has never been so bitter or sweet, vengeance is key but this is a phenomenal story that will always stay with me. I cannot stop thinking about this book. Kudos to EK Blair, she nailed this one, so freakin good.

He thinks, in this moment, that we’re making love. He fills me slowly as I lie beneath him. Arms laced around his neck. Legs spread open wide, inviting him in deeper as he makes a meal out of my tits. He believes everything I want him to. He always has. But this is merely a game for me. A game he foolishly has fallen into. He never questions my love for him, and now my body writhes underneath his and moans in mock pleasure as he comes hard, jerking his hips into me, telling me how much he loves me, and I give his words right back.
“God, I love you so much,” I pant.
His head is nestled in the yoke of my neck as he tries to calm his breathing, and when he lifts up, I run my fingers through his hair and over his damp scalp as he looks into my eyes.
“You’re so stunning like this.”
“Like what?” I question softly.
“Sated.”
