“Game on.”
Noah and Olivia have been friends since they were little,
their fathers were best friends and were in business together so their lives
had been meshed from the very start. Noah and Olivia now both work for their fathers’
company as keeping it in the family is extremely important and both have been
groomed to take over the reins. It is obvious from the very start that Noah has
a huge crush on Olivia, he has dreamed about her for years, but alas, she is
very much not interested. But, all that is about to change.
Noah’s father has recently passed and it is stipulated in
his will that before Noah and Olivia can take over the family business, they
need to be married…and produce an heir. Olivia of course is outraged until she
too finds out that her fathers will says the same and he is battling illness at
the moment. Both their fathers have dreamed that their offspring will marry,
they are huge believers in the fact that Noah and Olivia are so well suited,
they just need a little nudge…or a cast iron will.

Noah was extremely charming and charismatic, he was a
manwhore but he was waiting for the one and he had had his eyes on her for
years. But that persona was a means to an end for Noah and underneath that façade
was a man that had a heart of gold, was grounded and just a generally really
great guy, there was nothing about him I didn’t like…even Olivia may have misjudged
him?
Olivia was the ever present business woman, all work no
play, extremely focussed and intensely headstrong. She was a ball buster and
always got what she wanted in the work place. But underneath that frosty attitude
was a closet romantic who secretly dreamed of weddings, babies and being in
love, however, she kept this a closely guarded secret.

Hitched 1 is the first in a three book series that follows
this couple from first receiving the news of their dad’s wills. Each instalment
releases a month apart. This book was a decent size for a series and from the
first till last page I was captivated by Noah and Olivia’s story. I laughed…A
LOT, I swooned even more and I was egging this couple along from the get go.
Olivia doesn’t make it easy for Noah but Noah is on the charm offensive and he
knows that it is only a matter of time before Olivia succumbs. The thrill of
the chase, the proving of worth, the breaking down of walls, it was great to
see these try for the sake of the company while maybe…just maybe they can find
a real everlasting love too…at least I hope so…I need book 2!!
