“You’re going to find out what I can do now. And I almost feel sorry for you.”

Fallen Crest Forever…more like Crest Fallen Forever…I cannot believe that this series has come to an end. My heart is literally broken. I have loved these characters for years and it always pains me when you have to say goodbye. This whole series has been a guilty pleasure, even though I am in my forties I have loved every single book and have lived vicariously through these characters. Yes, the situations they get themselves into have been outrageous, but none the less, this is a book, this is escapism and Tijan has gifted that to me time and time again.

Mason, Logan and Sam have kept me entertained for many hours, from hating Sam in the very beginning to forming an impenetrable bond where any one of the fearsome threesome would take a bullet for the other. You cannot choose your family but you can choose your friends and although their parents are bumping uglies and initially they were thrown together, the relationship that these three have forged is inspiring and given me many a heart-warming moment.

“Stick around. I’ll turn destroying you into a hobby.”

Tijan brings us an angst fest of epic proportions, nothing less than expected of course, but this did go a route I never expected and certainly never anticipated. I will admit I cried a river, my heart hurt, my soul ached but the front cover kept my hopes up all the way through, after all, no author would be that cruel? Or would they?

“It’d break my heart if you ever regretted us.”

All loose ends were tied up, but the biggest part of this book for me was Sam. Sam grew exponentially in this book, she finally found her back bone, she was always strong, but was easily affected by others, others that always knew the right buttons to press. But in this book, Sam takes stock of her life and it was something that she has needed to do for a very long time, not for anyone else…only herself.

“You’re going to find out what I can do now. And I almost feel sorry for you.”

Mason as ever was adorable, it is hard for him to take a step back, but he knows that Sam needs to do this for herself, but he was never far off the periphery in his hulking protective badass way. Logan as ever was the brother she needed and some of the scenes between Sam and Logan literally had me in tears. Tijan has given that connection to the reader from the very beginning, not only character connection for us, but she has cemented the connection between the three of them. We have never been in doubt about it and that connection is only highlighted in this book.

So much happens but I lapped it up like a starved animal. I inhaled this book, tried to savour it, but with Tijan hitting you at every turn, those pages just kept turning. I would have loved a little more in the epilogue, yes, I am being greedy, but when you have spent so long with a couple you want to know EVERYTHING!! I am still hoping that Tijan gives us more. Novella’s, full sized novels…anything really. I am hoping that these characters will still plague her every thought so she has no alternative other than to grace us with MORE!! I mean, Logan can’t shut up at the best of times so I am hoping that he lives up to his rep. Please Tijan…can I have some more?
