“I will live to hurt you. I will live to torture you. You will die a slow, painful death for this.”

I couldn’t wait for the conclusion to this series and Lisa Renee Jones did not disappoint with one heck of a page turner. Once I picked this one up there was no stopping me as I devoured it from first to last page. Lisa Renee Jones left us on a doozy of a cliff hanger in book three and while I still had the ending clear in my head, I was grateful for the re-cap that she provides before the book starts. End Game starts where Bad Deeds ended and once you start, you won’t come up for breath.

Shane and Emily’s story was left in a bloody heap at the end of Bad Deeds and without giving anything away, this review is going to be vague. The fallout from Shane’s brother’s activities with the Martina Cartel is far from over and Shane spends the majority of this book still putting right, Derek’s wrongs. Amongst the legal stuff though is the continuation of the story and this book, as well as suspenseful was sad as hell.

“This book is not closed, but we’re the ones turning the pages.”

I cried a river reading this book as well as being on the edge of my seat as Shane fights to right so many wrongs. Love and loss is the meat of this book, and while at times it was quite sappy, for me, that was needed to start to mend my broken heart. All the puzzle pieces begin to fall into place but the Martina Cartel are not going to make anything easy. This book really tests Shane’s limits, how far would our clean-cut lawyer go to save the people he loved? This book has Shane questioning everything he knows about himself but at least he is surrounded by grounded people that can take the emotion out of his decisions.

This has been a fantastic series and as ever, Lisa Renee Jones’s writing had me on the edge of my seat one minute and swooning the next. I wish I could include more quotes, I highlighted a tonne but they are all spoilers and this is definitely a conclusion you need to read all by yourself. I have been addicted to this authors writing style since the first book I picked up of hers and with a new series on the horizon and a busy publishing schedule for 2018, I cannot wait to see what comes next.
