Donna
Hi there and welcome to our blog!! My Name is Donna, I am the reading machine and provide most of the reviews, I also promote the blog and am now running it on my own. You will also find me stalking authors on Facebook as I love engaging with the authors who created the masterpieces I am most fortunate to read.
I am 42 years old and I am married with 3 children aged 8, 6 & 5. I live in London and work part time from home as an accountant and consultant. Reading is my de-stress.... with work and looking after my 3 little "angels" and my husband, I need a good book to whisk me off and escape into a world of romance.
I have always loved reading, even as a child I was the nerdy school girl that was the teachers pet, was the prefect and did well at school….I loved my books! For a while with work and relationships I found I didn’t really have the time to read as much as I used to, that was until I got a kindle……what a fantastic invention…my husband has regretted buying me one ever since…my first download was Simon Cowell’s autobiography and then came the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy and now some 1,700+ books later I am still reading every night…my fellow bloggers nick named me Dustin after Dustin Hoffman in Rainman as I can devour a book in hours…I am a quick reader….but have loved how through Amazon Forum’s and Goodreads I have made some great friends, discovered very talented authors that I would have never heard about before and read some truly amazing books.
I would name a few authors, but there are just too many and sooooo many books that I have loved. Most of my reviews on Goodreads are short and sweet as I never intended for them to be on a blog so for some of my favourites I will re-write them.

As I said above, I have made some good friends through this reading addiction and I am so pleased that Willow invited me along for the ride with this blog. I hope that you all enjoy reading our reviews as much as we all enjoy reading the books and hope to help you in some way to enjoy reading as much as we do.
Guest Review Team:
To support us we have two lovely ladies who provide some reviews for the blog....
Dawn
Hello, I'm Dawn and I'm a 33 year old married working mum of 1 darling little girl.
I haven't always been a big reader. I'm mildly dyslexic and reading was always a chore rather than a pleasure and it would often take me months to read one book. But then someone introduced me to 50 Shades of Gray and Christian changed my life. Then I got a kindle and my whole world changed. Reading is now a huge passion of mine.
The genre I read most is romance but have read a few others as well.
A little over a year ago I joined a thread on Amazon where I met my very good friends Willow & Donna we then became friends on Goodreads. Now a day doesn't go by where the three of us aren't in touch some how. We are constantly texting each other from other opposite ends of the country. I'd be lost without my girls!!
But recently life's got in my way and I can't put in as much time or effort as I'd like to or nearly as much as the girls do. So I've taken a bit of a step back and I'm now a guest reviewer for the blog. Although the girls still keep me in the loop. And I still love reading I just can't do as much as I did before. (Which was never as much as our Rain Man Donna!!)
I hope you come back time and time again to our amazing blog.

Shirley
Hi there, my name is Shirley, I am retired, I am also Donna’s mum…yes my daughter has asked me to become a guest reviewer and Willow has welcomed me with open arms!! Bless them!! I have been reading ever since I could pick up a book. I have literally read thousands and thousands of books. Reading has always been my favourite pastime from Romance (Mills and Boon) to modern Romances, Crime, Thrillers and most recently Paranormal. Donna got her love of books from me as she was always encouraged to read and I always had my head stuffed in a book! Our house was covered in them as is my house now! Although Donna has now got me a kindle so my shelves are somewhat reprieved at the moment!
Donna and Willow were eager to introduce a paranormal romance side to the blog and as I was reading this genre anyway I said that I would do whatever I could to help. You will have to bear with me, I am new to all this and extremely nervous but I will always give you my honest opinion.
I can’t wait to get started on Friday Frights, the blog's new Paranormal Romance reviews feature!
Willow was a co-founder of the blog but she has now retired.
Welcome to our blog. My name is Willow. I created and designed the blog. Until recently I created the posts and managed all the IT and I also managed the blog schedule. I even managed to fit a few reviews in ;-). Unfortunately, due to illness, I have had to take a step back for a while.
I am 34 years old. I live on the South Coast of England. I have a stressful job as a Manager of a GP surgery and reading is my way to relax.
My love of reading came from my Nan, who sat my brother and I down when we were about 9 or 10 years old and made us read The Lord of the Rings and a book called The Dragon Bone Chair. This got me into fantasy books which was pretty much all I read. My favourite fantasy series is the Sword of Truth by Terry Goodkind. (If you are into fantasy books you should check them out!)
Then I got a kindle and started going a bit mad with my reading. I branched out and started to read other genres but ended up sticking with Romances, though I've always got some non-fiction book on the go - usually either some sort of science or Psychology book. For the blog I mostly read contemporary Romance, Young Adult Romance and Erotic Romance. I am not a fan of Historic Romances but will pretty much read anything else that is Romance!! Although I thought I wasn't a fan of paranormal romances, when the blog started I started to read the Experiment in Terror series by Karina Halle, I totally love them and its now one of my favourite series - you definitely should check these out!
My kindle is pretty much attached to me now and I'm reading whenever I have a spare moment. I love talking about the books I read and so my poor family, friends and work colleagues often have to sit there and listen to me going on about the characters and their stories as if they were my friends - well they are aren't they?? :-)
I was going to mention a few more of my favourite authors and then I realised there are just too many!
I started the blog in April 2013. It was my first blog, but I wanted to share my love of reading and all the great books out there that I've come across. As a base to start the blog I uploaded some of the reviews I had done on Goodreads and Amazon UK, at the time of writing them I didn't know they'd be on a blog so these reviews written before April 2013 will not be detailed reviews, it was a good place to start though!
We welcome new friends to share our love of books, so you can find me on Goodreads here
And what's the point of a Blog if you can't share it with friends? I have made some good friends through forums and I would like to invite some of them to share the blog with me.....
