This is the first book that I have read by this author and I was not disappointed. The sex scenes are hot and steamy and the danger surrounding the two main characters is intense which had me turning the pages to reach the end as fast as I could.

This story is about a young woman's obsession, starting from the early age of four years old. She has been having constant dreams of monsters surrounding her but also in the nightmare she sees a man who is her saviour and now she knows he is there everything will be OK.

The woman having these nightmares is Olivia Crane, twenty-four years old, who after graduating with honours has earnt herself a job at the prestigious firm of Penbrooke Ink and Editorial Institute in Detroit. Olivia has been doing small write ups as she is still a relative newcomer but then a big story breaks. The police have let it be known that children are going missing and Olivia would love to be the one to investigate but her boss denies her request but that did not deter her at all.

And then her world changed in an instant by a chance encounter with a man in a nightclub. Olivia had drunk too much and was looking for a bathroom when she literally stumbled into the man in her dreams, her saviour, of all those years ago. At first she wasn't sure because he had not changed at all in the last twenty years but the more she talked to him the more she was certain. Olivia recognized his soft melodic voice and touching him was affecting her greatly. He was handsome with muscles that rippled under her hands but he felt so cold to the touch and was very pale skinned and then everything clicked in her brain.

"You reminded me of a prince then," she exhaled. "But you're not a prince, are you? Princes don't have fangs..." His expression changed from bemusement to complete shock. "You talked so strange too!"

The man she had bumped into was Quinn and it was while she was speaking to him that he realized that she truly remembered that night. He didn't know why he freed her all that time ago but to meet her again had to be destiny. Her smell and touch enticed him like no other human he had met before in his very long existence. Through circumstances Quinn was obliged to take Olivia back to his home and it was there that their mutual attraction flared hot and fast between them.

“Olivia was in a state of bliss. Every brush of his thumb against her swollen nub combined with the friction of his fingers was pushing her towards the edge faster and faster.  And then, he bit her!”

Olivia had never felt so fulfilled. No one had made love to her like Quinn. But soon after danger was knocking on Quinn's doorstep and he knew he had to protect Olivia at all costs.

Olivia and Quinn's story tells of evil outside influences doing their best to tear them apart bringing a menace so great into Olivia's life that it could be her death, but the attraction was so strong between these two that it gave Quinn the spur to change his life forever.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would recommend to any reader who enjoys reading about a hot love between two people. I know I will be reading more of Angel Falls books in the future.
