Friday Frights ~ PNR Review ~ Eleventh Grave in Moonlight (Charley Davidson #11) by Darynda Jones

Book Description:

A typical day in the life of Charley Davidson involves cheating husbands, missing people, errant wives, philandering business owners, and oh yeah...demons, hell hounds, evil gods, and dead people. Lots and lots of dead people. As a part time Private Investigator and full-time Grim Reaper, Charley has to balance the good, the bad, the undead, and those who want her dead. In this eleventh installment, Charley is learning to make peace with the fact that she is a goddess with all kinds of power and that her own daughter has been born to save the world from total destruction. But the forces of hell are determined to see Charley banished forever to the darkest corners of another dimension. With the son of Satan himself as her husband and world-rocking lover, maybe Charley can find a way to have her happily ever after after all.

Another brilliant book by Darynda Jones. This is a superb series that has grown in leaps and bounds culminating in this new awesome book. Eleventh Grave was a real page turner that keeps your interest from the get go.

Charley is still the same quirky person as she ever was except now she has a lot more oomph to her, especially the part about being a grim reaper and not only that but a goddess as well. And of course, she has that very sexy husband of hers. Reyes the Son of Satan no less and as she puts it.

“Tall, Dark and Sensual.”

This is definitely a must read. So much going on in this book, with evil snapping at her heels, missing her daughter yet knowing she must keep her safe from evil gods that are after her, which leaves Charley down at times. But there is always Reyes there looking out for her and with their very erotic lovemaking you can see why Charley feels that she can cope with what life is slinging at her now.

I am not going to say no more as I don't want to spoil anyone’s enjoyment. Just to say that I honestly think this is a superb book and series Ms Jones and you cannot get any better than this.
